  • especially for 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports
  • compatible with Arca Swiss system and bracket
  • perfect balance even when zooming

Performance

The optionally available tripod clamp TS-81 was specially developed for the 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports and can also be used with the 500mm F4 DG OS HSM | Sports. It is compatible with the Arca Swiss system and its mount.

The deliberately long bar offers the freedom to determine the exact center of gravity in order to have the perfect balance even when zooming or when using accessories such as a teleconverter or battery grip.

We have made sure that the Lens remains transportable even with the tripod clamp attached. With the tripod clamp attached, the lens hood can be attached to the lens in the opposite direction, allowing the lens to be stowed in its original quiver.

Construction

There are safety screws on the tripod clamp to prevent the Lens from falling. There are two screw thread sizes, 1/4 and 3/8 inch, so that the tripod clamp can also be used independently of the Arca Swiss system.

Compared to the supplied tripod clamp, the TS-81 has more space between the Lens and the clamp. This also improves carrying comfort if the tripod clamp is also used as a carrying handle.
