The lens brings distant subjects close - ideal for portraits from a medium distance.
The elaborately corrected Apo Sonnar lens design ensures that your subjects appear extremely realistic. An optical image stabilizer is also on board to prevent camera shake. The fast and precise autofocus ensures sharp images even in difficult lighting conditions. The shallow depth of field at open aperture allows you to play creatively with sharpness and blur - drawing the viewer's attention to your main subject.
The ZEISS Batis autofocus lenses have been specially developed for Sony full-frame mirrorless system cameras. The lenses are fully compatible with all E-mount cameras and offer fast and quiet autofocus as well as dust and splash protection. For creative work, the distance and depth of field can be read on the innovative OLED display so that the focus area can always be set perfectly for impressive images.
