  • Aspherical fast standard lens
  • finest image quality in a classic look
  • aspherical lens surface
  • 12 aperture blades for outstanding bokeh
  • high-quality full metal housing in a compact design
  • manual focus for precise adjustment

The Voigtländer NOKTON 50 mm F1.2 aspherical VM is a very well-balanced lens with the universal and very popular focal length of 50 mm, which offers an extremely natural perspective. It was developed for both digital and analog photography and is functionally fully compatible when used on a rangefinder camera.

Two lens elements with aspherical surfaces and the 12-blade aperture design ensure outstanding optical performance even at open aperture, and images with a very soft and pronounced bokeh can also be produced. The close-up limit is 70 cm (this value can vary depending on the camera type), and when using the separately available VM-E adapter (for Sony cameras) the minimum distance is reduced to 41.7 cm. When developing the NOKTON 50 mm F1.2 aspherical VM, great importance was attached to compactness, which is why it weighs just 344 grams, making it extremely user-friendly and easy to handle. When using the camera's optical viewfinder, disturbing influences on the viewing angle are largely avoided thanks to the short design.

The NOKTON 50 mm F1.2 aspherical VM is aimed at photographers who appreciate an outstanding standard lens with fine image quality in a classic look, and the high speed of F1.2 makes it ideal for available light photography.
