The MKE 400 is a compact shotgun microphone with distinctive polar pattern that optimizes and accurately captures the sound for your videos. It's ideal for vloggers and videographers.

As with the MKE 200, the MKE 400 features an integrated windscreen and boom mount.
But it offers even more features for optimal recording: Its directionality is achieved through an acoustic interference tube that isolates sound in front of the camera and suppresses unwanted background noise from the sides.

A 3-step sensitivity switch ensures that the MKE 400 delivers distortion-free sound in any environment, and a switchable low-cut filter focuses your audio on the frequencies critical for clarity and speech intelligibility. A convenient headphone output with volume control is used to monitor volume levels.

The included coiled cables with locking 3.5mm TRS and TRRS jack plugs allow use with DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, and mobile devices, making it easy to quickly switch from one device to another. Two AAA batteries power the microphone for up to 100 hours of continuous use, and the standard 1/4"-20 thread camera hot shoe allows for universal mounting.
