Ultra-compact directional microphone that attaches conveniently and securely to the camera hot shoe and comes with a wide range of accessories. The VideoMicro II is an ingenious "snapshot microphone": compact (8 cm), lightweight (39 g), no battery required, no controls or switches - Plug&Play!

Despite its compact dimensions, the VideoMicro II is basically a real shotgun microphone with supercardioid characteristic and high directivity towards the front. The angle of incidence is approx. 45°. If you open both hands to the front at a half-right angle, you can easily see which sound sources are within the pickup range; laterally incident sound is ignored to the maximum.

The sound quality is first-class: high output level, minimal inherent noise and a crystal-clear, completely color-free audio signal. Visually striking and immensely effective is also the new red HELIX™ Isomount swing mount, developed by RØDE itself, which perfectly decouples the microphone mechanically so that no annoying grip noise is picked up.

The package includes a foam windscreen, the WS12 deluxe head windscreen, a high-quality 3.5 mm TRS to TRS flat ribbon cable (24 cm) for connection to the camera and a RØDE SC7 (3.5 mm TRS to TRRS spiral adapter cable) for connection to smartphones.
