A first-class cardioid condenser microphone with integrated audio interface for Mac and PC. Equipped with a high-quality 1/2" electret condenser capsule, it allows high-resolution and low-noise recordings of even quiet sound sources and is therefore ideal for recording vocals, acoustic guitars and other instruments as well as for podcasts and voice-over recordings.

Of course, the NT-USB is ideal for beginners who do not yet have a separate audio interface - but professionals will also appreciate the fact that, in practice, you simply need to connect the microphone to a USB socket on the computer, then start the DAW and start recording straight away; in case of doubt, you can also record guitar and vocals on one track at the same time. Without wasting much time, you can spontaneously record demos and musical sketches that sound really good - without losing your inspiration!

The NT-USB comes with a small table stand and a metal pop protection for voice and vocal recordings, which can also be removed for instrument recordings. For monitoring, headphones can be connected directly to the microphone and the monitoring volume can be set using the corresponding rotary control. The second knob is used for overdubs to adjust the volume balance between the microphone signal (which is tapped directly without latency) and the playback signal from the computer. The NT-USB is "Class Compliant" for Mac and PC, i.e. it is immediately recognized by the respective computer without a driver and supplied with the necessary power. As soon as a proper connection to the computer is established, this is indicated by an inconspicuous blue operating LED located behind the speaker basket. With an (optional) Camera Connection Kit from Apple, the NT-USB can also be used with an iPad®.

The scope of delivery is completed by a really long USB cable (6 m), a dust bag and a mounting ring with stand holder, so that the NT-USB can also be used with a normal microphone stand if required.
