  • Multi-coating on all lenses
  • Die-cast aluminum body
  • Enhanced Light Transmission coating
S-Series
The porro prism binoculars of the S series have an objective lens diameter greater than 40 mm and are the continuation of the A series. With the same high-quality coatings as the A series, impeccable image quality is guaranteed. Characteristic of this series is the high light intensity due to the large objective lens diameter.
The S series offers many of the features of more expensive binoculars. Robust with a full rubber housing, including the extra large central drive. They have exceptional optical performance with high quality BaK4 prisms.
Multi-coating on all lenses
Optimal light transmission is one of the most important aspects of the visual quality of binoculars. This is also the focus of the new technologies for the current PENTAX Sport Optics series. The "Full-Multi-Coating" of all lenses is the new standard coating. It improves light transmission and contrast while minimizing reflections and ensuring excellent colour fidelity.
BaK4 glass prisms
Since the light rays are deflected several times at different angles in a prism, the quality of the optical glass is of decisive importance. This is why PENTAX binoculars only use prisms made of high-purity BaK4 glass with a high refractive index.
Rubber coating of the Body
The rubber coating of the entire body offers excellent resistance to shocks and impacts.
Quality for years to come
RICOH IMAGING offers a 30-year guarantee on PENTAX Sport Optics products to ensure that all binoculars remain a pleasure to use.
  • Complete rubber coating
  • Large, central adjustment wheel
  • Click stop diopter adjustment
