The DMW-BGS5 battery grip allows an additional (optional) rechargeable battery to be attached, thus doubling the shooting time of the LUMIX S5. The grip also makes it easier to hold the camera in portrait format and has a joystick, two knurled wheels and function buttons in addition to the shutter release.

Longer battery life for demanding outdoor shots
By using two batteries - one in the camera and one in the grip*, the DMW-BGS5 significantly doubles the battery life. Ideal for even longer trouble-free shooting.
*Batteries are not included with the DMW-BGS5.
