With the ES-2 adapter, you can convert analog color or black and white photos into high-quality digital files without using a scanner. It is compatible with Nikon digital SLR cameras that have an in-camera menu for digitization.
Using the adapter, a NIKKOR lens (Micro-NIKKOR is recommended) and the camera's digitizing menu, negatives are captured in Photo Live View. The camera automatically adjusts the colors and converts the analog images into JPEG format. You can review the digital images on the camera monitor or on a TV via an HDMI cable (not included).
Whether you want to continue shooting analogue or digitize old negatives, the ES-2 is a convenient solution for creating digital files for printing and sharing. The resolution and color gamut of the JPEG files are sufficient for enlargements up to DIN A1.
