  • Tripod ball head
  • high load capacity of 20 kg
  • can be tilted, rotated and fixed
  • built-in spirit level
  • equipped with 3/8" thread and with ¼" screw

It is part of the standard scope of delivery of the Urban LX-324CT carbon tripod from Leofoto. Not least because of its high load capacity of 20 kg, the 97 mm high and 368 g light ball head is also highly interesting for many other tripods, whatever brand they may be. Of course, the 3/8" tripod thread in the 46 mm diameter base and the ¼" camera screw on top (on the QR plate) are obligatory. The best prerequisites for connecting the head not only to a wide variety of tripods, but also to countless cameras.

In view of the enormous load capacity, the ball diameter of 38 mm can be described as small. The movements and stops can be controlled very comfortably and safely thanks to the generously dimensioned rotary knob - up to 360° all around and up to 90° sideways. The 360° scale on the base is laser-engraved (making it indelible), as are the scales on the left and right of the BPL-50 quick-release plate supplied. Together with the built-in spirit level (circular bubble), they are useful aids when aligning the camera. With all this convenience, it goes without saying that the BPL-50 QR plate is Arca-Swiss compatible. After all, mounting the camera should not be unnecessary work and effort.
