Seriously, smartphone microphones aren't the best. That's why JOBY has developed the Wavo Mobile. This lightweight microphone that attaches to the camera improves sound quality without adding weight. It is absolutely simple to use. Just connect one of the included cables (TRS for cameras or TRRS for smartphones) and you're done! What's more, it doesn't need a battery, so it's ready to use anytime, anywhere.
Anyone who creates content is bound to be familiar with the problems associated with noisy environments, but that's exactly where the Wavo Mobile comes in handy.
The cardioid polar pattern means that it's primarily the speaker's voice that is picked up, while noise from other directions is attenuated. This allows this microphone to pick up the voice clearly despite distracting crowds, loud cars or breaking waves.
What is the secret weapon of this microphone?
The Rycote Lyre® technology! This provides superior dampening of vibrations. This means you can walk, run jump or twirl around and the Wavo will still not pick up any noise caused by movement.
The Wavo Mobile also comes with a fur cover.
Wavo Mobile Windjammer greatly reduces unwanted noise from air currents such as those caused by wind, fans or vents.
Simply slide the Wavo Mobile into the accessory shoe and tighten clockwise to securely attach it to equipment, mounts or cameras. Then just warm up your voice and start recording!
To be versatile and fast, JOBY also offers you two different types of adapters that can be combined with the Wavo microphones. In case you want to use the Wavo Mobile with your laptop, you will find separately the Wavo™ USB Adapter, which, thanks to its plug-and-play solution, allows you to connect the microphone and headphones directly to your computer or laptop. You're ready to go!

- describe which advantages and/or disadvantages the product has
- refer to the product only
- provide pictures, videos, audio files or similar made with the product or showing the product
- feel free to upload raw data (RAW etc.) so that others can judge the actual quality
Each customer opinion is editorially checked before publication. Please ensure, among other things, that
- Your information and media are not false, misleading or inaccurate
- your information and media relate exclusively to the product and not to the price or other circumstances pertaining to the delivery (use our contact form for this)
- Your content does not contain any other offers, products, suppliers or other contact details
- Your content does not contain any spam, advertising or other inappropriate content
- You do not make any discriminatory, sexist, immoral, racist or otherwise unlawful statements or share any content

Terms of use for community ratings and media
These terms of use apply to the participation in and use of the customer ratings of Hifi Foto Koch GmbH. In the event of conflicts with the general terms and conditions or data protection regulations, these terms of use shall take precedence.
By submitting a customer rating and/or an upload of media (e.g. pictures, videos, audio files, texts, documents etc.) you assure that
- You are the sole author of the content and own all copyrights
- You accept the guidelines for ratings and community media and you are at least 14 years old
- Your information is neither false, misleading nor inaccurate
- You do not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent or publication rights
- You do not violate any data protection rights, personal rights of third parties or any other rights or laws

You provide your content free of charge and are not entitled to any form of remuneration or compensation. There is no entitlement to publication.
Submitted customer opinions and uploaded media are usually reviewed and published within a few working days. All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Promotional use is also permitted. The content may be edited or deleted if it violates the guidelines for ratings and community media as well as these terms of use or if it makes sense for the respective purpose. It is also possible to shorten the content at any time and without giving reasons.
Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and agents do not warrant the ability to modify or delete the content you submit, should you wish to do so.
You transfer the rights and licence of your content to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives. You grant Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives, the unrestricted right to your customer opinion (rating text, nickname, star rating, recommendation, etc.) as well as to your media (e.g. images, videos, audio files, texts, documents, etc.; incl. the indication of the author, description, etc.) to use, change, store, delete, shorten, modify, adapt, translate, copy, pass on, sell and distribute worldwide in any form, any medium, in any technology. Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.
You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
By submitting your customer opinion and/or uploading media, you agree to the Review and Community Media Guidelines and Terms of Use. By providing your email address, you agree that Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and agents may send you status information of your customer opinion by email.
